A Kundan stones necklace set is a traditional and exquisite piece of Indian jewelry, often associated with royal heritage. This jewelry set is typically made using Kundan, a technique of setting stones in a gold or a gold-plated framework, where the stones are set in place using pure gold foil. The stones used are usually high-quality gemstones like diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires, but glass or semi-precious stones are also commonly used for a more affordable option.
The design of a Kundan necklace set is intricate, with detailed craftsmanship that may include traditional motifs, floral patterns, or even contemporary designs. Kundan jewelry is often worn for special occasions like weddings, festivals, and celebrations, adding a regal and opulent touch to the outfit.
A typical Kundan necklace set includes:
Necklace: A statement piece with varying lengths and designs, often designed to sit comfortably on the neckline. The centerpiece may feature larger stones, while the rest of the necklace is studded with smaller Kundan stones.
Earrings: Matching earrings that complement the necklace, typically in the form of chandbalis (crescent-shaped), jhumkas (bell-shaped), or danglers.
Maang Tikka: A decorative piece worn on the forehead, often featuring a central stone with intricate detailing, completing the bridal or festive look.
Bracelet/ Bangles: Sometimes included in the set to create a cohesive look.
The Kundan stones are polished to perfection to enhance their shine and vibrancy, making it a sought-after jewelry choice for those looking to make a gr
and statement.
